TL;DR Chartica's website uses minimal cookies. We don't run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioural tracking. The only cookies we set are functional ones (font preferences, form anti-spam tokens), plus a HubSpot tracking cookie that's only set when you actively submit a contact form. Manage them in your browser at any time.
About cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website sends to your browser. The browser stores it and sends it back on subsequent visits, so the site can recognise you, remember your preferences, or measure usage. Cookies are either session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (kept until they expire or you delete them).
Cookies do not typically contain information that personally identifies you. But if you submit a form on our site, the personal information you give us may be linked to data we collect via cookies.
You can find background information on cookies and how to manage them at the ICO's website: ico.org.uk/your-data-matters/online/cookies, or at allaboutcookies.org.
The cookies we use
Our site uses a deliberately small set of cookies. Here's the full list:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
__hssc | HubSpot — counts the number of sessions you have. Required for the contact form to work. | 30 minutes | Functional |
__hssrc | HubSpot — anti-spam check on form submissions. | Session | Functional |
__hstc | HubSpot — distinguishes site visitors and tracks them across the form lifecycle. Only set if you interact with a HubSpot form. | 13 months | Functional |
hubspotutk | HubSpot — links a form submission to a specific browser so duplicate enquiries can be deduplicated in our CRM. | 13 months | Functional |
That's it. We do not run:
- Google Analytics or any third-party analytics platform
- Advertising or retargeting pixels (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Personalisation or A/B testing tools that drop cookies
- Affiliate or referral tracking cookies
If we add any of the above in future, we'll update this policy and put up an explicit cookie consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies set on our site come from third parties whose services we use:
- HubSpot — handles our contact forms and CRM. The cookies above are HubSpot's. Their cookie policy: legal.hubspot.com/cookie-policy.
- Vercel — hosts the website. Vercel may set a small number of operational cookies for routing and DDoS protection. Their privacy notice: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Google Fonts — we load Mona Sans, Instrument Serif, and JetBrains Mono from Google's font CDN. Google's font CDN does not set tracking cookies, but it does receive an HTTP request that includes your IP address. See: developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.
How to manage cookies
You can control cookies via your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or delete cookies that have already been set. Note that blocking essential cookies may stop our contact form from working.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our cookie use changes. The version live on this page is always current; we will note the last-updated date at the top.
